Full service 24 Track Recording Studio

Studio Perro Malo is owned and operated by Jim Wunderle and Yankton Sothern in Springfield, MO. Perro Malo features 24 Tracks of ADAT with a Mackie 32/8 console and plenty of outboard gear, vintage Fender amps, a great drum kit and a full complement of microphones. Tracks can be imported to our computer rig for digital editing and mastering. Studio software includes Sonic Foundry Sound Forge, Vegas and Vegas Video, dozens of DX Plugins and the T-Racks mastering program. CDs are burned using Adaptec software and the Alesis Master Link. For long form narration we use two AKAI DR4d hard disc recorders. Editing on these machines is fast and smooth.
